How to protect yourself:

  • Engage in social distancing of six or more feet

  • Avoid close contact
  • Stay home when ill or if other family members are ill
  • Leverage telework options
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily
  • Avoid close contact with those who are already sick
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth
  • Watch for cough, troubled breathing, or other signs of respiratory infection
  • Monitor temperature for a fever above 100.4 degrees F (38 degrees C)

What to do if you think you are sick:

  • Stay home except to get medical care
  • If you are sick, separate yourself form other people in your home
  • Call ahead before visiting your doctor
  • Wear a facemask if you are sick
  • Avoid sharing personal household items
  • Monitor your symptoms
